My Faculty

The degree I am studying is Architecture and the changes I would make to the study plan is to remove the transversal and CFG, as in a way they are filler subjects for the university degree. Another change I would make is the academic load that is given to students in Architecture, there are times when we sleep with luck 1 hour a week, literally 1 hour, this is because they overload us academically and there is not enough time to do everything in a day.

On the other hand the faculty of architecture of my university should be better, the few spaces of expression of the student body were removed, whenever the students try to do something to feel part of the faculty, those of "Block A" take it away, an example of this are the white boards with drawings made by students, these were not in the way at all, however they still removed them, speaking of infrastructure there are rooms that have very little lighting and are very small and there are other rooms that are raining, if it is a faculty of architecture and architects leave the place, why do not they fix the faculty? I know that the place is a heritage site, but even though it is a heritage site, they should fix what is bad. There should also be an infirmary in the faculty, as we students often work with heavy and dangerous machinery and if there is an accident we have nowhere to go, there are people who have injured their hands and have to run to an emergency room to be attended to.

With respect to the teaching methods each professor has his own teaching, but there are professors that their teaching is not worth anything, since in this faculty they hire mainly architects and not architects who also have a teaching degree, there is a lot of difference between being an architect and a teaching architect, to teach in my opinion they should have a teaching degree, since not anyone can do it, for these reasons there are very aggressive professors and those who leave the students with psychological damage, there are also students after a semester with certain professors who have to go to therapy. I do not think they should continue to allow things like this anywhere, as not everyone who works here knows how to have an effective teaching method.

Summer with my nona

My ideal plan for this summer is to go to Ireland, because almost a year ago my best friend went to live there and she told me to go and visit her, my best friend's name is Isidora, however I call her Nona, she is my soul mate, they say that soul mates come in many forms, it can be your partner, it can be someone in your family or it can be a friend you have, in my case she is my Nona and I have no proof of that, but I have no doubts that it is so, is someone I love with my life and what I want most for my holidays is to go and see her. In the country I don't really know what places we will visit, however what I do know is that we will have a wonderful time, with her I always have a great time, my Nona is my safe place in this world. We both like Harry Potter and everything that has to do with his world, in fact her Hogwarts house is Slytherin and mine is Hufflepuff, my best friend told me that if I could go to see her we would go to London together and we will visit all the places that have to do with the world of Harry Potter.

Inuyasha

To put Inuyasha in context, it is an anime from 1996, I first saw this anime when I was 10 years old, I watched it on the TV channel "ETC". Inuyasha is my favourite anime and my favourite series, every time I watch it again I feel the same emotions as the first time. Well in this post I will talk about how the main couple of the series is toxic and why they shouldn't be together.

Although I really like the main couple of the series, which are Aome and Inuyasha, I must admit that I don't like how toxic these two are, Aome is a very naive character, she always goes back to wherever Inuyasha is, even though he prefers his ex, (who is otherwise dead and her name is Kikyo). To contextualize again, Inuysha's ex died because of a trick of the main villain of the series, called Naraku, however Kikyo was able to come back to life thanks to a witch who put part of her soul in a body of mud and bones. Because of this, just as Inuyasha and Aome are beginning to have feelings for each other, she reappears, complicating the story. Now back to what I was talking about before, Inuyasha always has to choose between Kikyo and Aome, he chooses Kikyo, leaving Aome as second choice, this situation is constantly repeated until Kikyo dies again, literally Inuyasha's ex had to die for him to choose Aome, that is to say that until the end he put his ex as first choice, even though she was just a body of mud and bones in the form of Kikyo. In short, Aome was never Inuyasha's first choice and I don't think she should be with someone who never knew how to make her his first choice.

Postgraduate

Personally, I would like to do a master's degree in Landscape Architecture, which is a programme at the "Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile" university, to be honest, although it is a postgraduate course in Chile, I would like to study remotely, as I would like to work and study at the same time, as I said before I want to study in Chile, because I don't know if I want to study something abroad, although I know that studying somewhere else would give me other views of architecture, I want to first study at another prestigious university in Chile, to have different views of my own country.

All the subjects of this postgraduate course attract my attention, I like the area of landscaping in architecture, it is a beautiful area of my career and I think it is what I want to dedicate myself to in the future.
